Resignation letter by Rtn. Carmelo Cocuzza
...and reply by President John
Fellow Rotarians,
it is with deep regret that I wish to inform you that my term in Kenya as the regional head of the European Investment Bank has come to an end after 5 eventful and fulfilling years.
As such, I would like to tender my resignation from the Rotary Club of Nairobi where I have met some of the most extraordinary and outstanding Rotarians and where I have experienced the deep fraternity that exists amongst its members.
It saddens me to say goodbye but I wish above all to reassure you that I shall continue with the spirit of "service above self" in my new endeavours and that I shall never forget you. Many thanks for everything you have taught and shared with me.
I also take the opportunity of wishing everyone the best for the year 2010.
Yours Faithfully,
Rtn. Carmelo Cocuzza
