Here are some of the comments that we received after the successful finish of the tournament:

Sally Gitoho, president Rotary Club of Nairobi:

Please join me in congratulating Barrack Muluka, Bernard Kiragu, Huma Kaseu and Norman Kihara for a job well done!

Let us appreciate Rotarians Anne for providing a delicious meal to the guests and players and Barbara for adding on to the prizes by providing some celebration drinks to the four teams Winner, first and second runners up and fourth place. She also on behalf of Prof. George Magoha topped up the top prize for overall winner with a donation of Kshs. 25,000.

Now that is the spirit of Rotary. Rotarians present at the event included our latest Duncan Mahangilu, Bernard Kiragu, Nick Hutchinson, Ann Vanlauwe, PDG Mohammed, Barbara Magoha, Barrack Muluka and yours truly.

We were also accompanied by Billy Konchellah, 800meters world record holder and Aggie a guest of Ann.

We look forward to our next sporting event the Swimarathon on 25th February 2012.

PDG Mohamed Abdulla:

Dear Rtns Barrack, Sally, Ann and Barbara,

I like to take this opportunity to thank Rtn Barrack and his team of Rtn. Bernard and Rotaractor Huma for pulling off the The Rotary Youth for Peace Football Tournament. I initially thought that it would be virtually impossible but you guys only found it a little difficult and worked through this tournament! Congratulations

Also special thanks to Rtns Ann for producing that Chinese meal! And it seem to go around to many guests who were there!

Rtn. Sally special mention for your Leadership for this event. We all salute you as well

Mohamed Abdulla

Rtn. Kevin Mududa:

Dear Rtn. Barrack and Team,

Congratulations on a worthy and successful endeavour that I believe has left an important imprint of Rotary and its activities to the youth of Eastlands.

In Rotary,
Kevin
