Arthur Mattli’s guests were Jenny Piaget from the Swiss Embassy and Mr. Peter Edodu Director Institute Of Security Studies, Rtn Eme Essien’s guest was Ms Annabel from IFC Business Development Competition, Rtn. Vickie Winklers’s guests were Mr. Don and his spouse Pat Howard form Colombia USA, Rtn, Anne Vanlauwe guest was Thede Keunan from AACC International.

Announcements and Notices

· Nick Barton made an announcement on wheel chairs.  He said they had landed at the Port of Mombasa and requested for a volunteer to store the container for approximately 2 weeks pending distribution of the chairs.  Kamal Sanghani offered to store the chairs.

· P. P Sudesh Walia made an announcement on the Presidential Conference.

· Rtn Halima Shaiya announced about an oncoming visit to the Nairobi National Park scheduled to be on Sunday 9th of September 2007 starting 11.00 am.

We had no guest speaker today but Rtn. Christian Knochenhauer our Communications Director presented a report on our visit to the Mara to launch a water project in Osinomi location located 15 kilometers form Kilgoris town. It was a very successful event and he thanked all the members together with their families who participated
