The Rotary Membership Development and Retention Seminar will take place at Jacaranda Hotel on 24th of October 2009. During the recent visit to Kenya Clubs DG Tadesse, just as we all know, clearly identified this seminar topic as the great challenge facing not only clubs in Kenya but also Rotary Clubs worldwide. Therefore encourage as many members of your club as possible to attend and let's put our heads together to tackle this problem. Besides the usual presentations we will be sharing experiences with a Rotaract Club (a great recruitment resource that is often not adequately tapped) and with a Rotary Club (RC of Langata) to see what makes it tick as it has won many Presidential citations and other wards consistently in recent years. As you may be aware Rotary seminars are self-financing and the cost per participant is 800/-- to cover the cost of renting the room, equipment and light entertainment (water, tea/Coffee/snacks). It is a half-day seminar which will run from 8:15 AM to 12:55 PM. The first presentations will kick off at 8:45 AM prompt and all participants are requested to be punctual. Thank you and we look forward to a packed hall during the seminar.
