Club Meeting & AGM |
It is that time of the year again when things start to roll in slow motion. Anything grinding goes out the window and festive mood sets in. For this reason our last meeting for this year will be held this Thursday. So I urge you to come in big nos for two good reasons. Firstly, our AGM is taking place on this day and secondly, we need to hug and wish each other safe festive season with God's Blessings.
We shall resume our meetings on 5th Jan 2012.
See you all on Thursday! |
November-17-11,
Laico Regency Nairobi |
Club Meeting & Fellowship |
Our Speaker this week is Hon Mutava Musyimi, the current MP for Gachoka Constituency. It was during his tenure at Nairobi Baptist Church that he came to the limelight as he spoke openly against the excesses of the Moi era as he started to appreciate the pulpit as a powerful place for speaking out against injustice. He joined the National Council of Churches, NCCK as the Secretary General and served until 2007.
In 2007, he ran against Joseph Nyagah and won, defeating the fifty year old hold the Nyaga family had on the constituency.
Hon Mutava has declared his intentions to vie for the Presidential seat in Kenya's 2012 General Elections and his solgan is "IT'S TIME"
As we all know Kenya is at crossroad at the moment. Hon Mutava may just give us a hint of where we are likely to head and his topic is " Road Ahead for Kenya"
See you all there |
