CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION PROJECT FOR CENTRAL KENYA FUNDED BY ROTARY CLUBS OF SWEDEN IN COLLABORATION WITH RCN & RCM

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The “Clean Water Project” was initially a joint initiative between the Rotary Clubs of Sweden (District 2350) and the Rotary Club of Nairobi. It further became joint collaboration between Rotary club of Muranga with the Swedish Rotary clubs.

Water and Sanitation Management Services (WASMAS) was tasked with the responsibility of facilitating the project which it undertook in the year 2000. The pilot project was carried out in Wanjohi area of Wanjohi Location in Nyandarua District.
