The RotaryClean Water & Sanitation & Rainwater Harvesting project in partnership with Swedish Rotary clubs was initiated in 2002/03 with the construction of water tanks in Nyandarua. The project has spent an estimated total of KES 62.5 million since its inception. The current funding of KES 1.6 million will be used for the construction of water tanks in several schools, communities and women groups in Nyandarua and Kirinyaga.
Every year, our Swedisch friends have come to visit us and to inspect the work done. This year, our vice president Atia Yahya accompanied our visitors to some of the projects.
